Empowering STEM Education Through Your Support

The Dunmore Area Educational Foundation’s mission is clear: to bolster educational opportunities that often fall outside the scope of traditional public school budgets. One of our primary focuses is supporting the innovative STEM program led by Mrs. Behler at the Dunmore Elementary Center. Mrs. Behler's dedication to nurturing young minds in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) is truly commendable, and we are committed to furthering her efforts.

Generous contributions from Fidelity Bank and community members enable the foundation to provide additional resources and tools for the STEM program. With your support, we aim to equip the program with the necessary development tools to enhance the learning experience for every student in the elementary. This program impacts roughly 800 students who receive STEM education for one class period each week.

Additionally, we strive to expand the scope of the summer STEM Camp, offering more enriching opportunities for students to explore and experiment in the world of STEM. Furthermore, your donations help us fulfill our goal of sending more students to local Girls STEM Competitions. By empowering young women to participate and excel in these events, we not only encourage their passion for STEM but also contribute to a more inclusive and diverse future in these fields.
